As per the strict principles of Vastu Shastra, minimum
area assigned to Brahma Sthan….
In Vastu Shastra, the Brahma Sthan has been
categorized into macro Brahma Sthan and micro Brahma Sthan. Ideally, as per
Vastu Shastra, 1/3 part of the central area should be assigned to Brahma Sthan.
This is called macro Brahma Sthan. However, in today’s world, when there is
more population than the space available for construction, it is recommended to
assign at least 1/8 part of central area to Brahma Sthan. This smaller central
area is called micro Brahma Sthan. However, given the limited space available,
even this smaller central area may need to be utilized. Therefore, Vastu Shastra
provides certain guidelines on how one can utilize the Brahma Sthan by just
making different design decisions. For example, one can make lobby in a house
in the central area. This place can also be used as family lounge, informal
sitting area, light weighted dining, pooja, yoga or common space. In mall, the
central area can usually be used to build podium etc. However, one should take
a few precautions as explained in the previous answer and avoid building
toilets, staircase, well etc. The people in the world are being attracted towards Vastu
